1:00pm – Welcome and Introductions
1:15pm – Evolving Technologies and Keeping up with the Demand from Consumers

As we live in a world where technology is finding a way into every part of our life, it’s no wondering that the food industry is being greatly impacted by it as well.  From online food ordering, to analytical tools to track business metrics, to transparent food labeling, technology is revolutionizing nearly every aspect of the food industry.  During this presentation, Cathy Ness will discuss the many ways that new and evolving technologies are helping to streamline processes and keep up with the demands of consumers.  We will discuss food management systems, mobile and kiosk transaction processing and food labeling to connect the consumer with the producer in ways we never thought possible.

2:00pm – Digital Consumer Tsunami

In this session, attendees will learn why a digital strategy is now more critical to their client’s business success, the causes and ramifications of increased digital activity and the impact on brand, operations, and customer relationships.

Please join so we can share strategies to help you and your clients thrive in the face of the digital tsunami!

2:45pm – Break
3:00pm –Autonomous and Automated Food Service Delivery - Considerations for Planning and Design

By deploying autonomous and automated food service transport technologies in facilities such as hospitals, hotels, resorts and other institutions, end users can significantly improve the customer/guest/patient experience in the following ways:

  • Allowing staff to refocus on higher value face-to-face interactions
  • Improve efficiency of delivery trips to ensure high quality and timely delivery
  • Expedite return of soiled trays to more quickly prepare for next meal service
  • Minimize challenges of hiring, training and management of staff

This discussion will identify the logistical challenges of transporting food service items throughout, explain available technologies and document results.

3:45 – 4:30pm  Technology Discussion with all 3 presenters
4:30 – 5:30pm – Networking with beverages and appetizers
