About the Presenters:

Marsha Diamond, MA, RDN is the President and CEO of M. Diamond, LLC. The company’s mission is to assist foodservice businesses improve their brand loyalty and increase sales by blending the right solutions to deliver the right products and services. Marsha leverages her food service, business, culinary and nutrition expertise to define these solutions for industry challenges. She specializes in the foodservice market segment and her company is known as an industry resource, connector and opportunity identifier.

Dan Henroid is the director of the Department of Nutrition and Food Services at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Health system where he is responsible for patient meal services at two hospitals totaling 716-beds, seven retail food operations with a combined sales of $12 million, catering and conference services with annual sales of $3 million, 3 gift shops with annual sales of $2 million plus oversight of inpatient and outpatient nutrition services. He has overseen the creation or renovation of all retail food outlets at UCSF and oversees other nontraditional programs such as digital signage, an interactive patient experience system, and a fleet of 33 robots. In addition, he serves as the health system’s sustainability officer.
